One of my favorite hardcore records of the 90s, the split with Ottawa and Jihad is absolutely nuts. Both sides are amazing, with Tolkien-loving Ottawa's sound being pretty crusty (and ridiculously fast) hardcore with multiple vocalists. Despite having members of emocore legends Current, Ottawa's sound is quite the far cry from that band. As far as I know, the thirteen minutes of music on their side contains is all the music they ever released, but every second of it is perfect. On the other side, Jihad plays very evil sounding, slightly metallic hardcore with shredded vocals. This band rules. Personally, I dig the Ottawa side more, but the Jihad side is crucial. Download this and sing along to Glenn Yarbrough.

:Edit: The tracklisting of this might be slightly off on the Jihad side, but I was following the back of the actual LP. Apparently, though, the labels on the first pressing were incorrect. I haven't been at home for a few months, so I apologize if it's the incorrect order. But hey, even if it's wrong, you still get an extra song Jihad track. Deal with it.

SOULCROSIS FUCKING RULES!
you only need to listen to the ottawa side of this split.
Holy shit. I've been looking for this thing for like 8 years (granted, not looking THAT hard, but still). A guy at Bionic Records in Southern California turned me onto this (the same guy who turned me on to Saetia, Von, and Reversal of Man). Much appreciated!!!
my ottawa side of this is worn smooth and the jihad side is still crisp. not saying that jihad is bad, i just wore out ottawa (and still don't know but 1% of the lyrics)...
kiss the goat!
